Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 1 hour at 325°F
Yields: Makes 2 loaves, 8 healthy slices per loaf
Additional information:
I got this recipe from a friend many years ago and have been perfecting it ever since.
1. Mix everything together in no particular order until everything is moist. Don't overbeat.
2. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans (8 x 4" makes taller loaves; 9 x 5" makes shorter ones).
3. Bake about one hour at 325°F. Loaves are done when a toothpick comes out clean.
4. Cool in pans for 15 minutes, then remove from pans.
