Prep time: ~15 minutes
Cook time: 6-8 minutes at 350°F
Yields: Makes 4 and 1/2 dozen, optimistically. How much dough do you eat when making cookies?
Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
Add eggs and vanilla and blend well.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
Blend flour mixture into creamed mixture a little bit at a time.
Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
(NOTE: Cookies will flatten during cooling. Cool on cookie sheet until set, then move onto a wire cooling rack to cool completely.)

Every time I make these cookies, I forget how good the dough is. I just made some, and it's so creamy and chocolatey and perfect!! And the cookies are great, too :-)
