Banana Ice cream:
Find a vanilla (french vanilla...) ice cream recipe that you like. I have a kitchen-aid ice cream mixer and I just used the vanilla recipe in that...so nothing special. and instead of adding vanilla extract, add banana. that's it.
Poached Pears:
Heat 4 cups cran-rasp juice in a medium-large pot and add one cup of sugar. Heat until dissolved. Peel and core 6 pears and put
them in the pot for 20 minutes, take out and let cool. Boil down the juice mixture until ~1 cup is left. Now you have a tasty sauce
for your poached pears!
