Cream Cheese Frosting

Before you begin

Prep time: 15-20 minutes
Cook time:
Yields: 20-24 cupcakes or 9x13 cake

Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 6 TB butter, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1-2 TB milk
  • Chopped pecans (optional)

Directions

  1. Beat butter until fluffy (about 3 minutes)

  2. Beat into butter the vanilla, cream cheese and 1 cup powdered sugar

  3. Gradually add the cup of powdered suagar and enough milk to reach a creamy consistency

  4. After you frost the cupcakes or cake, you can top with the chopped pecans
